I have over a decade of experience. I continue my education by familiarizing myself on the court process and take courses to better understand the different forms of domestic abuse when it comes to children. I have personally been through my own high-conflict divorce and custody case. During the process, I observed an education void regarding how the court system works. Individuals in high-conflict divorce situations need support as they negotiate their way through an unfamiliar maze. Divorce in and of itself is traumatic. Add another layer of trauma—domestic and legal abuse—and it becomes very difficult to maintain a healthy balance.
